I had an auction close FEB 25. Item has been paid for and sent. Yesterday I get an End Of Auction email from Ebay for the auction! The heading had yesterday's date, but the info was for the auction that closed Feb25.

I emailed the buyer, just in case she got something.

This can be VERY confusing when other auctions are closing!

Has this happened to anyone else? I hope it doesn't become a regular occurance. Should I contact Ebay, or wait to see if it happens again?

lol. thats is a bit late..

I think reguarly its late by a few hours or a day at most..

I believe once, one was late by about 3 days.

I dont even have the function on anymore, I just turn it off.

I'm pretty sure it may be confusing for some new buyers...

It happened to me also. I did not get an email when the auctions closed on Feb. 25, and I heard it was because someone had quit eBay and caused a slight problem for a few days. Anyway all the items that closed that day have been shipped but one, and the high bidder emails me today that he was sorry for the oversight. I think he also got the late email from eBay. LOL. Now I don't have to remind him of a late payment; ebay did it for me.

They are slow tonight also. I think I haven't received 3 of them and the auctions closed 5 hours ago. I did send out my WBNs because I have to work in the morning and I can't do them then.

This is becoming more of a problem lately. For me, my late email EOA's always seem to come on Sunday and Thursday nights, which are the heaviest nights for listing and auction ending. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or is it just me? Perhaps Ebay may have to bring in some reinforcements to help some overworked servers.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

I've gottem 2 in the late week; one was 12 days old, the other 14 days old. Both transactions were already paid, shipped, and closed, already!

Thinking it is ISP problems. I just received an email dated 2/16 and no they did not change the date and send it late....it was from my sister.

All of mine for last night were here this morning. But on my auctions that closed on the 16th of Feb., I never received the EOA's at all. I complained & the reply was that it was an internal problem & would be fixed within 24 hrs. I still didn't the EOA's
