I was buying a used cell phone last week and found the best bargains seemed to be the occasional phone that was listed with a low buy it now price. Usually they sold within an hour of being listed.

Is there some program or service that can check a particular search, say once every 5 minutes?

Along the same lines, I was searching "Verizon" and seeing auctions that had started about 30 minutes ago, but if I changed my search to "Veri*" then I saw stuff that was listed about 20 minutes ago.

I just checked and it's working the other way today. I just searched "Verizon" and sorted by newly listed. The first item had been listed at 9:48. I changed the search to "Veri*" and the first item had been started at 10:14.
