Can any one tell me, do your sale rate slow

Thanks

Yep, been lots of earlier posts on this.

As the war approached, many sellers experienced this. Mine dropped every time the news said we were to war going "soon". Sales dropped further for some sellers after the war started. I quit listing for bit now, as my closing rate dropped drastically. I sell off Ebay as well, so I am still selling there.

I've been surprised, my sales have been steady since the war started- even a bit better than the past few months. The USA Today reported this week that people were out buying over the past weekend. I certainly have noticed an upswing with people out and about. I went to our local small town antique mall on Saturday a.m. and it was the busiest I've seen it in a looong time! And not just lookers!!

But now that regular t.v. is returning to regular programming maybe it will slow down again. I just don't think there is anyway to tell. I would never have predicted last weeks increased sales during the outbreak of the war - I thought for sure people would be glued to their televisions.

My sales in April & May are usually dismall with summer being just plain slow. Too much competition with flea markets & stuff to find out an about in the spring & summer. But with the slow sales this year, I can't afford to just shelve ebay until Fall, so I'm going to keep trying to forge ahead.

Mine are great at the moment, but its basically what I'm selling. Next week they'll probably suck.

For the first few days it was like the world had stopped - basically no sales, although I have stopped listing on eBay in the last 2 weeks, but we have 4 web sites, and they are normally quite active, particularly a couple of them, but in the last few days they are coming back up.

I may get wild and start listing on eBay as soon as I get through my - reorganization - I decided this was a good time to up date, reorganize, etc.

Our other sites and "brick & mortar" store carry us off of eBay - so am not rushing to list till it looks a bit more stable.

Slow? What "slow" would that be? Omigod, I've got orders pouring in. I can't keep up.
