yes a New Ebayer never responded to my "WIN" email. So last night I sent this one:

I havent heard from you in regards to you winning my auction. Is there a problem? Are you still interested in this XXXXXXXt? If there is anything I can help you with, please let me know. I would appreciate a reply
within 48 hours or I may be forced to cancel your bid and relist it.I have attached a copy of my original email to you for your review.

So this morning I received:

I am still interested in the XXXXXt. Is there any other way of sending you the payment that will not require extra fees? Every means of sending money orders or cashier checks that I have looked into requires extra fees.

They can't afford the $1 for a MO?
Tell them to ask mommy or daddy for the extra to help out...

Is it a big ticket item?

Tell them to go to a convenience store. In my area you buy a money order for 39¢-59¢.

edited to add:

I'll bet he is trying his bank. Some banks charge their customers outrageous fees for money orders and cashiers checks.

The bank where we do our main banking has a service that if you have so much money in their bank their money orders are free. Can't get any better than that.

If your going to make a good profit and if you feel extra good today tell them to deduct the price of the money order from their purchase, but in the future if they bid and win another auction from you, you will not offer this service. Give them no more than 50 cents. Some people with money are so tight they squeek.

No way! Why should the seller have to pay for this cheapskates money order. I would just tell them that payment is due at such a date and if not that you will file for your fees. End of story.
MD, yeah like this bidder can not afford a m.o. fee.....right.

Sure you have to buy a mail order, and pay for a stamp, but jeez...

Why would Paypal or a credit card cost him anything?

Well, we will see what happens. I just sent the doctor this email:

Normally people who bid on online auctions use money orders on one of the online payment service. You can purchase a money order for about 35 - 50 cents at convience stores (like 7-11) or gas stations. Even grocery stores, dept stores and others sell money orders very inexpensively. You could just send the cash in an envelope but I really do NOT recommend doing that as it can et "lost" in the mail. I worry when people do that.OH, one more thing, the post office also sells money orders cheaply as well.
