I'm not an expert...looks like a regular glaze to me...what would I look for to determine if it's "lustre" or not...Thanks!

Sorry, what I meant was does the white color have an iridescent or pearlized look to it?
It reminds me of some of the Japanese pieces that had 3 footed cups with them or a fancier style of cup. I have had a few with only numbers on the bottom like you show but most are made in Japan.

Thanks, Kiara...no, this saucer doesn't have the pearlized lustre finish...Funny you should mention that however, as I have a cup that is also unmarked...so, am guessing from what you said that this is Japanese...it DOES have the pearlized finish and is footed...You inadvertently answered my unasked question...You ARE amazing!

lol, it's because these are some of my favorites and they sell well in my shop. The one you show is a beauty! I love the handle on it and the open looped feet. Yes, most were made in Japan in the 1940's and 50's I believe.

Thanks again...I'll have to go in and modify my listing before it goes on auction! I think it's really pretty too!

I believe this may have been made by Saji. I couldn't your number, but did find a similiar one "EW6683-B" listed for Saji(a Japanese C0.)
