I use Sales Manager to list my post cards. Each item I list is unique but I was able to establish some basic inventory boiler plate templates...I set them up for each type of postcard (ie: chrome, linen, white border, chromolith and undivided back) and have some variation as to postally used/unused and condition.
When I list an item I select the appropriate Inventory type, choose the correct category (thank God Vendio enabled this!) and then write the title, change description to fit the item, attach picture and schedule launch.
I use PayPal to deliver the WBN..(didn't like the VENDIO checkout idea as a buyer and figured my buyers wouldnt like either) but use VENDIO post-sale management faithfully.
When I ship my postcards I go to "postsale" in sales manager and do an item seach by eBay item # (i just search by the last 4 digits) - when the search result comes up i select the appropriate item and then perform the following: check "3 column" (paid )and then "5" (shipped )- i send out shipping notification (edited the notification to also confirm payment receipt) which automatically updates "6"..I then leave feedback ( i know, i know, many say to wait but this works best for me)updating "7" and I'm done.
Periodically I check "postsale" unpaid items and send payment reminders (check box 2 and make a note in the note section)
The system works for me but I am wondering if there is a better way?
