Hi gang, I just wanted to give you an update with my problem Canadian bidder. Her package was returned to us because she did not pay the tax due. Since she went to Square Trade I wrote and told them what happened. She will probably tell me I am so unfair to want her to pay me again to ship her item.

Which leads me to my question. What information do you include in your TOS regarding shipping overseas?

My policy is very clear on this issue

If the package gets returned to me because I wrote down the wrong address, I pay to reship it. It is my fault. I once sent a package to Singapore that was expensive to ship, and I transcribed the address incorrectly. I checked my records, and sure enough it was my fault. I resent the package

If a package comes back to me and the address I send to is the correct one, I will NOT pay to reship it. Not picking up a package at customs falls into this category, just as not picking up a package at the post office would. I would resend AFTER the pay me to ship the item again...If not, I would refund minus shipping charges.
