I understand feedback has to be left within 90 days. Does follow-up on a negative feedback also have to be done within the 90 days from the ending date of the auction or 90 days after the negative feedback was left.

My guess is yes to the ending date of the auction as the auction will disappear from the searchable ebay database after 90 days.

I just checked and I can respond and follow up to feedback in my file right back to Feb of '99.
One time I had a chargeback months later and was able to put a notation in the feedback after leaving them a positive when the item had originally sold.

I guess that works okay for an ebayer with only a few feedbacks but most ebayers would have many new feedbacks and the old ones would be well back and down the list. Better than nothing I suppose.
