Hi, all: I don't know where, on the PayPal site, I can find out how they determine how much to take from one of my buyer's payments to me. Anyone?

Hi Roadsmith ! I think what your looking for is under My Account -Overview....scroll through till you find the transaction your looking for by buyers name then click Details ...it will tell you how much they took out

Sun: Yes, thanks. I'm looking for the sliding scale or whatever they call it that determines how much to take out of a payment to me ($10 = how much out?, $20 = how much?, etc.). I'll check into the link you've given me.

Wow, that was fast! Got it, I think. I believe I'm in the "merchant" class, due to smaller number of total sales. In that case, it's a straight 2.9% + 30 cents (US sales) and 3.4% + 55 cents (Canadian). Etc.

The 3.4% + 55 cents is if you receive the payment in canadian dollars. If you only accept US dollars, the charge is 1% extra (3.9%) + 30 cents from any international account.
