I bought a box of old comics today at around $.97 each -- they're all from 1970's or so, not worth as much as I thought but I'm learning! There are about 100 or so, and who knows, maybe there will be one gold egg.
Does anyone know of a good comic book reference site? I'm not even sure how to look them up on ebay. Nothing like branching out into the unknown! =)

Here is a link of one of the oldest comic book sites around that I know of. Go to the "Comiclopedia" section: 3800 international comic artists with biographies and artwork examples. Site is:

Here's a link to probably the best on-line reference site for comic price guides:
http://www.comicspriceguide.com/
It's almost as comprehensive as Overstreet (unlike Wizard)... and has fairly accurate pricing. Make sure you check out their grading section so that you learn how to accurately grade comics. And also... never expect to get the full value that the comics are graded at (25-50% is more likely what you can sell it for). Hope that helps!
