Do any of you have any lighting suggestions? I photograph mostly jewelry, and Silver turns out real yellow. I'm using GE Reveal bulbs but I need something "whiter".

Halogen works great for me when trying to capture true color. A neighbor that recently moved left behind a grow light light which I set up in my miserably underlit office. I was amazed at the accuracy of color in the pictures I took using this light.

You might also try a blue light in the area. I use 3 100w floods, NOT directed at the object, but bounced off the white ceiling and surrounding area...and a 100w blue flood (Sylvania) for filler. It does a pretty good job of taking the 'yellow' out of indoor, under-lit pics.

I think there used to be a bright yellow sphere in the sky. Rumor has it this sphere used to make things nice and warm. Hmmm, wonder if it will make a return appearance anytime soon.
