YIKES!!! Has anyone seen this on the top of an auction page?

Just what does this do to those of us who use templates from auction management companies?

I was looking at an auction, and at the top right corner of the page (just above the purple title bar of the auction), it says: Coming Soon! Preview eBay's new look for this page...

This is the page that pops up...

Sorry about that!

I'm glad they are waiting til summer to launch it. That's a slow time, and the guaranteed ebay programming screw-ups that will be introduced with this change, and the many following corrections of the "issues," will provide a good reason for me to take a vacation.
Starting on the first day this is introduced.

LOL fetish!

I'm just wondering what the new fee increase will be since they are adding that little thumbnail at the top - surely they aren't doing this out of the goodness of their heart

Looks like we are getting closer and closer to having to use eBay checkout - wonder what's next LOL

It's almost as if eBay has purchased Vendio & intends to intergrate it into their system as early as this summer. Just like they did with PayPal last year!

Good question about how to launch to ebay from VD.

I'm surprised they didn't use a bigger Paypal logo in the "payments accepted" section (and a 1-point font for the other methods).

I WISH A MODERATOR would come on here and tell us if we can still launch auctions through Vendio. If not, YIKES.

There are a few moderated Vendio forms for asking only Vendio-related questions. There is a Jump to Vendio boards selection box at the bottom of this page.

Why would this affect those using VD or templates?

It would just insert your usual template into the area with the header DESCRIPTION, just like it does now. All this is going to do is expand the ebay stuff at the top of the page.

I like it, but we'll see if they start charging extra for that picture at the top.
