Has anyone tried listing their items on the UK site or another Country's EBAY Site? I was thinking of small items with a firm shipping price...where I could advertise the set shipping cost in the auction. Any luck with this? Or is it better to just stick with America's EBAY and show that I ship internationally?

There are some great translators you can look up on Yahoo to do the german and Chinese writing for you....don't let that part stop from selling there.
German :Ich verkaufe gern auf E Bucht!
English:I love to sell on e-bay !

I've listed on eBay UK, Canada, and Australia on Free Listing Days. Usually these were relists of items that had not previously sold (and the ads were ready to go).
I found I received more bids and sales using eBay UK, and that EVERY customer was from the good ole U.S.A. Go figure! My theory is that the price looks "cheaper" in UK Pounds because the numbers are smaller (even though the price is actually the same and the currency conversion is given right on the eBay page).
Conversely, I received less bids on eBay Australia and Canada, I think because the price looks "more expensive" in AU$ and C$. Just a theory, mind you, but it correlates nicely with my other theory that many people are really stupid.
Go for it, though. I plan to market more aggressivley in certain international venues. It makes sense for my business as many of my items can fit in the Global Priority Flat Rate envelopes, and thus shipping is not outrageous. YMMV.

Forgot to add that if you do decide to just list via regular eBay (U.S.), you can still state a fixed shipping amount to other countries in your ad. For lighter items, I usually list a fixed shipping amount for the U.S.A., Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. You could add other countries if you wanted to.
Saves a lot of Questions to Seller, and when the auction ends I know what shipping rate to charge without having to weigh the item and look it up again. I do all that work at the time of listing.

Thanks for the replies! Do you have to sign up for Ebay UK seperately? Or are we already "in". Also...I'm assuming I can't launch Ebay UK auctions thru AuctionWatch...Does one just relist or list directly thru Ebay UK?

Yes, you are already "in" with eBay UK. To test it, you can go there and sign in. The link can be found somewhere on eBay's homepage.
I've listed directly on eBay UK, but I know two services that offer listing on international sites: AuctionSage and AuctionTamer. There must be others, but I can't remember them at the moment.
AuctionSage is what I use for post-auction management, but I haven't listed through them. AuctionTamer is what I used to use, and it is fine, too (I just prefer AuctionSage). I think both have a free trial period, so you can try them without being out any $$$.
A good service that facilitates payments to and from UK buyers and sellers is AuctionPix. The URL is http://www.auctionpix.co.uk. Very nice people, and professional service. They have eBay tips on their site, too...from the UK point-of-view.
Good luck, old chap! (typed with a British accent)
