I got a huge stack of popular music (sheet music) for $5. Some of them aren't worth selling at all but others are.

I've never sold or shipped sheet music. I'm assuming I wouldn't ever fold it in half, or even roll it for fear it's too brittle. Is there any better way than enclosing it in two slightly larger pieces of cardboard, reinforced, and sending via media mail? Any tips or hints? Thanks, guys.

I just sold a huge lot of piano music and books(12lbs) When I checked the prices it was cheaper to send by fedex then by media mail. It is another option for you. Oh and if you do fedex on line you get 10% off Wahoo!

Surprising.

I checked the fedex rate from my town to the next, 12 pounds, home delivery, and it was $6.13

Media mail anywhere in the country would be $5.44

You only get the 10% off if you use Fedex Air. Fedex Ground and Home Delivery are still the same as the online calculator.
