I tried to sell an absolutely perfectly legal rock dvd (from dutch group THE GATHERING) on e-bay, but appearently somebody complained and it was yanked because it was supposedly illegal. But I KNOW for a fact that it is indeed perfectly legal, it is being distributed by one of the really big german labels and you can buy it in any well-assorted music shop in all of europe. I have tried explaining this to e-bay, but the won't even investigate.
I don't care so much about the auction, I'm more worried about the mark left on my e-bay record because of this (I believe it's 3 strikes and you're out).
Any ideas as to how it's possible to correct this matter?

It depends on why they yanked it. If someone feels it's a bootleg an it's a VERO violation that should be easy to correct.
If it was janked due to content, there really isn't anything you can do.

Is this a factory copy? Could they believe it's somehow bootleg?
There's another thread talking about factory video DVDs being pulled. I just checked and a Chinese sudio CD (also a legit factory copy of a CD only released in China) that I had been watching appears to be gone.

Maybe it's because it's an import? I've heard the RIAA, and maybe the MPAA as well (music and movie industry, respectively) are planning to try to force OUR government to crack down on CD import sales.
