Anyone know anything about the "Blue-Box Plastic Toy Cars Series"? I searched both eBay and Google but found nothing. The only relevant info on the box is that the toy was made in Hong Kong; there is no date. Based on the condition/appearance of the box, my guess is 1950's or so but that's just a guess. The small plastic toy inside is about 1 3/4 inches long. Any further info (date/value?/etc. will be, as usual, be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I found one similar toy last night. It was listed for $5.00 but my system crashed and I can't find it any more. .

This doesn't pertain to the pictured toy box but I have noticed that many Asian toy makers are using retro designs on their new toy boxes these days and at a glace they appear to be from the 50's or 60's.

Thanks, Newton, for the link...It was just what I was looking for and they have a section where I could contact them...So, sent them an e-mail and, hopefully, will get some info. Appreciate it! I do believe these are vintage (from the '50s) and NOT reissues as they come from the estate of an elderly lady...Thanks to all for responding...AW-ers are the BEST!
