I bought this signed Accessocraft necklace today and frankly, I don't know why. I'm having a dickens of a time trying to figure out just what the heck it's supposed to be. The pendant is large, 3" long, 1-1/4" wide and is almost 1/4" thick. There is a faux plastic carnelian stone on the end of the pendant. At first I thought it must surely open because it is so thick but I can't find where it would open. Any ideas? Anyone else see this necklace before?

Accessocraft? What the faux is that?

I'm thinking this is *supposed* to look like a seal.

No, not a baby harp seal, a sealing-wax type seal.

My other guess is that the end pulls off (without benefit of a hinge) and you insert solid perfume. But I don't see any ventilation holes.

Have you tried "rubbing it" to see if a genie appears?

Ooh, I could use a Genie 'bout now. Just pulled all the bills out of the bill box and yikes! I'm still paying off the winter's gas bill.

I take back what I said. I just looked at a bunch of other Accessocraft pieces. They were (are?) heavy into big chunky brooches and fantasy necklaces but I didn't see anything functional. So you are probably right about the end not coming off at all.

As they used to say in my day, "it's just for pretty".

It's funny because I plan on keeping it (I try to keep at least one thing I buy at the flea) and I've been driving myself crazy trying to open the darn thing.
