I want to see my total sales for the month, I know I can click on my selling page any amount of days I want, 6 days, 10 days,,,17 days etc. up to 30 days and "see" the total for that time frame.

However, I want to MANAGE my auctions better, as they HAVE paid I no longer need to "see" the sold sales, as in clicking up 30 days to see a quick 30 days total.

What I want to do is start deleting the the no problem completed deals, paid, delete, paid, delete. So all that will be left showing are the,,,,,,,,Ones that ARE NOT completed.

O.k. Say I do delete as done deals are completed, Now, I only have the stragglers showing. let's just say,,,,,,5 non comleted deals showing,,,,,

Now,My point is, when I click 30 days of sales, how many will I "SEE"? 5,,,,,,,because I deleted all the easily,no problem, paid for, completed deals.

My question is, NOW, where can I find my total sales for a 30 days period? i.e. the end of the month? NO!!! there is NO total in the Monthly billing from E bay,,,,,that is just a string,,,,,of numbers "I" would have to manually total up. NO WAY!!

Is there another place to find your 30 days sales?

I hope, I said this clearly and threw out the obvious answers some would give.

Thanks Much. Fetish.

I don't think "my eBay" was designed for sales management..sounds to me like you need to use a program that is. I use "my eBay" for quick glance totals but use Vendio ( have used SpareDollar and EBay Sale Manager before too) for the Sales Management side of the business.

The new Selling Manager on ebay let's you manage the items easily for $4.95/month. The items are kept for 4 months instead of the usual 30 days which works out good for relisting.

I make a chart and keep track of it that way. It also serves me to make sure that the correct items get to the proper bidders.

Back to your dilema. You can either not delete your sold items in myebay or what I do is do a search by seller. Then type in my id and use the search for completed items and check the all button. You will see all of your auctions for the past month, but at least it will show your auctions that sold as well.

Fetish, you asked for a solution to your accounting problems and I told you about ebay's Seller Manager. That's a lot cheaper then most other solutions short of pen & paper.

Fetish - the answer to your question is yes, if you delete the paid items from your Items sold only they will show but you response to someone that was trying to help you find comprehesive auction management was rude. I would have givin you the same advice and yes dear - I pay for them - in fact - I pay for TWO of them since I use different services on different accounts in order to pinpoint which fits the greatest percentage of my needs and both cost more than the $4.95 a month that Ace reccomended.

The ebay service is free for one month and I'm trying it. I think I'll keep it since it's only a few cents per day. With a 100 meg image host for $6/month that is a lot cheaper than Andale & Vendio and services like that ( except Spare Dollar maybe ) .

I use Quickbooks Pro and enter every sale so it is real easy to generate reports. If you are selling full time you need this capability anyway to do your taxes.

I also have Hammertap's Deep Analysis so I can analyze my sales or any sellers sales in great detail. I use it to keep track of the key players in the categories I sell in.

Fetish, it is called pen and paper... works great and has been around for a long time...

if you are too cheap to pay for others hard work in developing software that does the job.

AIN'T LIFE GRAND...
