This is a set of 4 oven pieces purchased around 1964 by my mother -- they cost a bundle then & I'm wondering if I should list. All (except the dutch oven, which has cracks from too many mac&cheese meals) are in truly MINT condition.

All have these lovely bird prints and "GOLD" highlights!

I look to my friends here for mucho help over the next weeks as I begin to unload her estate!

Hi Tom,

Your porcelain was made by Lourioux.

There's some on eBay now. A few are the same pattern as yours.

Very pretty! I especially like the baker in the first picture.

Lucy: Merci!!!

That's the name I couldn't read on these dishes!

Don't look like folks are getting too much for these, so I'm not sure if I'll list!

They are very beautiful & extremely durable! Our set is from the early '60s & was used extensively &, except for the dutch oven, is beautifully MINT!

Ain't gonna let go for $9.99

Vous êtes bienvenu!

If you DO decide to list them please let me know. I'm a real sucker when it comes to nice baking pieces - guess it's the French chef in me...

Your dishes are beautiful! Wouldn't the style be called an au gratin?
My cousin sold a larger oval baking dish a few months ago with birds on it. It went for about $150 to a woman in the UK who paid another $38 for shipping.
I'd keep it for the sentimental value myself. : )

The set consists of 4 pieces, 3 of which are MINT:

1) Au Gratin
2) Round Baker
3) Rectangular Baker
4) ?? Small Dutch Oven, which is beautiful, but the bottom has cracked & been repaired -- I'll keep that one!

I'll list them on Sunday night after I take some better pics -- & I'll list the url's here. Any of yowse guys win them, please remind me of yer REAL NAME & we'll work something out as far as a discount.

I may have found them on the replacements site. Look under Louis Lourioux pattern LOL4. They are close if not the same pattern. Maybe you could list the price charged from "a well known replacement house" in your listing? I would also mention the 'bluebird'. I hope you get top dollar!

THANKS for the tip about Bluebird!

Hi again,

I'm thinking Le Faune isn't the pattern name, more likely a style.

On Replacements.com there are a couple of patterns with Le Faune but not described as having birds on them.

Here they are:

LOL10 LE FAUNE, ORANGE FLOWERS,GREEN LEAVES
LOL12 LE FAUNE, VEGETABLES,MUSHROOMS,GOLD TRIM

Geeze...where's Sanmar when you need him? LOL!

In addition to mentioning the bluebird, the one on the left looks like a redwing blackbird (can't see it perfectly, but if it's dark with a little red and white on the wing, that's what it is) and I think the one on the top right is an oriole.

If you can, find out the rest. Bird watchers love this kind of stuff. My girlfriend's mom redid her kitchen some years ago and was annoyed that she couldn't find bird dishes.
