Best/cheapest way to ship 10lb box to england?
Fedex?
UPS?
USPS?
Im shipping it to england. Luckily I learned to inflate shipping charges for international, but I have no idea what this will cost.

IF you want your buyer to hate you, use UPS.
UPS will add on an import customs fee -- this would be in addition to any "real" customs duty the buyer will have to pay.

Ah, can't you look this stuff up on the internet yourself?

Seems like AFTER the auction closes is just a tad late to be checking out shipping charges.

Maybe the auction is still running and a Brit has inquired as to the s/h to the UK before bidding?

Lucy, how would you know where the item was going until the auction closed? Unless the bidder wanted to know before bidding. I bought a pair of ceramic dolphins last year. They cost me about $18.00 USD. The postage was $27.00. Never will buy from overseas again.

Auctionace, I suspect it's the stand-up electric fan he sold recently. High bidder is in England.
Sanmar, you wouldn't know where it was going until the auction closed. I kinda figured it was U.K. because the OP said he was shipping to England.
Anyway, Toben88, good luck sending your package. I wonder if the original factory box is strong enough to withstand being schlepped across the Atlantic? If it were me shipping I'd be double-boxing.

Wow this is harsh - I just tacked 39.99 on asuming that would cover all s/h fees.
Fedex quoted me $101
UPS is even higher.
Looks like I am paying USPS $47.00 and eating $8 for underestimating.
As I see it shipping costs are ebay's biggest enemy - they should make a deal with usps to get us lower rates.
It was the fan - time to hike my global shipping fees. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewItem&item=3226373160
Fan sold for 23.50
Shipping 47.90 or double sales price

Time to buy a scale, and learn how to use the USPS websites.
BTW that would have more than covered surface shipping.
