I did the same thing a few months ago...knew my buyers address and did a Google search on her town...Lo and behold, they had a site and I got the address for the local Police Department. I wrote them a letter and asked for their assistance...I think I sent it to their "Fraud" department. Much to my surprise, I got a telephone call from an officer saying he'd contact the buyer! I got my payment the following week with a note from the buyer asking me to let the people I'd contacted know they'd paid! This was a small town so don't know if I'd have gotten the same results from a large-city Police Department but I couldn't have been happier with the results I got..worked like a charm for me!

Small town gotta love 'em or leave 'em.
That was my first thought and that's what I put in the letter to the police department. I sent the case file I filed with the IFCC to them. Population 23,000 - about the size of my town and lord knows it's very small at times!
Twiddle....Hmmmm. Oh look! The Sheriff Department is online too!
SLAP ME UPSIDE THE HEAD!!
Looked in deleted emails and of course, there's the EOA from Ebay with her ADDRESS!
Let's see...now what mailing list should I put her on???

Glass- put her on a single mailing list and you are now guilty of harrassment. There is a difference between being a viliant buyer looking for a fair outcome and being a vigilante brat.

Back in March 1999 I was ripped off for 211.00 by LATV I couldn't even neg her, she was NARU right after for scamming several buyers.
I sent a check, she sent nothing. I couldn't even apply for eBay insurance because back then if the seller had even one neg you couldn't apply for it.
I filed fraud complaints, forget where, it was so long ago & never got any satisfaction.
Do you think it's too late to try again, or would it be a waste of time.
It seems like there is more help around these days. I was one of several she robbed & got away with it.

Glassgrl, good for you... had to do the same thing a couple of years ago with someone selling gold on eBay... the police told me I wasn't the first one to phone and that he was busy getting us our items...
I finally did get my item, but a year later I get a letter from the FBI wanting to know if I had my items, this person was now under investigation for.... you guessed it FRAUD...
Blueyes feel fortunate you had a gullible buyer...
