This is not a sales pitch, Just giving Scenerio to explain my question
I am sure this has happend to you. You find what you think is a treasure to sell on Ebay but you are not sure if its worth anything. But you cant look it up.
This has happend to me many times.
Does anyone use a Wireless Interent to look up Ebay Listings.
The cell phones can connect to the internet through ISPs like EarthLink. It's still quite pricey at $40 month plus cell phone minutes on your phone service.

I have sprint PCS for cell phone.
Internet costs extra $10.00 month.
It's worth the money when your in a pinch.
I also use it to power my lap top when I'm away!

Two months ago I saw a Hummel plate at a garage sale, mint in the box. She wanted $25 for it. Eh, I thought. I hate this kitschy stuff.
So we came home and I thought, what the heck, I'll look it up.
The plates were going for $165 on eBay. Went back, got it for $15, and booked a nice $150 (before fees) profit.
So I do know what you mean.
But sometimes you have to be careful not to give the seller the wrong impression. It's definitely an act, right? The "oh, I guess I could take this worthless garbage off your hands if you'd knock $10 off the price" ploy.
If I had given even the slightest hint I knew the plate was worth something, she might have kept it. Standing there consulting the Internet with your whizzy wireless device is a rather large clue about your intent.
I do keep a Schroeders (antiques price guide) in the car for such occasions.

I wish I had a top of the line PDA and an internet connection at the flea market. I see more and more people making cell calls at the flea market and many are talking about items for sell and I can imagine that a few of the calls are to someone looking up stuff on ebay at home.
