http://www.ebay.com/university/

A friend has asked me to attend eBay-U with her, August in Philadelphia, 25.00 fee.

I've been selling on eBay for 4 years & have been on Vendio almost as long. I certainly don't know everything, but I can't imagine learning more there that I have already learned at vendio.
Has anybody gone to one & did you really learn anything, are you glad you attended?

If not, would you go?

Why don't you just mail Meg a check for $25 and forget attending?

I have been selling on ebay for about 5 years.

I doubt there is anything they could tell me, except how wonderful they are.

Ah, geez! I sure do miss the baked beans at the old Horn & Hardart Automat!

It moved from Broad street to the Smithsonian. Good things never die.

Do ya remember the nifty Frank Lloyd Wright designed Synagogue that looks like a rocket ship taking off is -- over near Beaver College? In Jenkintown -- the home of Stutz's Double-Dipped Mints!!???

How about Dell Ennis's Bowling Alley? Remember him? The Phillies catcher?

Twas where I grew up! T'was a LONG time ago!

The FLW synagogue, yes, Beth Shalom, I saw it from the outside. I don't think they liked visitors, so didn't go in.

Yes, I rmember Del Ennis, Eddis Waitkus,(didn't someone shoot him) Mike Goliat SS, Andy Seminick, catcher, Willie Jones, third base, Robin Roberts, pitcher, Richie Ashburn center field, can't come up with rest right now. I even remember when the A's were in Philly.

Stutz's double dipped, the best.

I used to go to summer camp in Sellersville & they used to take us to Menlo Park swimming pool, think it was in Jenkintown, but not sure.
Went to crystal cave too, near Kutztown.

I'm still here, never left.

I've been on eBay for 7 years, you ask, "would I go to the eBay University?" No, not unless it were next door to me - I wouldn't expect to learn anything - well, we can all learn, but what top seller is actually going to appear and tell you all of their secrets????? NONE, unless they are crazy, and since they are successful, we can presume they aren't crazy, SO, bottom line, I wouldn't waste my time, unless it was close, free, and I'd go out of curiosity, that is if I didn't have anything better to do.
