The watchband is wierd! The inside surface is silver-colored & marked "CW STERLING" but the outside surfaces are gold colored?? The mosaic looks like turquoise? The band itself is marked "HONG KONG" & is like a twist-o-flex! Very pretty, but worth listing? Which category??

The earrings are marked "c JJ" -- again, very pretty, but worth listing? And where??

THANK YOU!!

Gorgeous watch band and definately worth listing! Is it gold colored or copper colored? I know you said gold, but from the photo it looks copper. Let us know when you list it!!!

This is the only thing I could find on a jewelry company with initials JJ. Could be them, but I'm not sure since it's not a pin. Could be an individual designer's initials, I suppose. Those are great also, tom.

J.J. is a registered trademark of the Jonette Jewelry Compant, East Providence, R.I. This costume jewelry company was orignially called the Providence Jewelry Co.; it was founded in 1935 by Abraham Lisker. When Abraham Lisker's brother Nathan joined the company, the name was changed to Lisker & Lisker Inc. Production was halted during World War 2. After the war, the company was called the Jonette Jewelry Company. Marked with the initials "J.J." their jewelry is mostly figural and novelty pins, including Christmas pins.

Cheryl: It is GOLD-colored on the outside & silver on the inside, where it says "STERLING" -- looks like it was lined with a layer of silver??

The earrings are marked with a copywright "c" & then "JJ" -- but under that is a huge "V" -- wish I knew more about costume jewelry...have a ton of it now!

THANKS to yowse guys, my sales have been great!

The watch band "tips" look like turquoise Zuni channel inlay. It is probably gold plated over sterling. The CW are the initials of the silversmith The gold plating is not unusual since many prefer their bands to match the color of the watch. The gold plated (or filled) expansion band attached to the "tips" is made overseas because I believe all bands are made in Asia now and have been for some time. You sould list the band under Jewelry and Watches Etnic and Native American. The earrings look like a cheap manufactured copy of Navajo earrings - metal content unknown. Notice - there is no bezal holding the stone (which might be glass)

"Very pretty, but worth listing? Which category??"

I don't know the category, but everything is worth listing (I think you knew that).

I list lots of things, and I am constantly surprised (pleasantly) at what brings the $$. It's usually not the items I thought!!

There is a saying about Hollywood movies, re which ones will make the money: "nobody knows nothing!" Same as what I said, you never know which screenplay (or which ebay item) will bring in the big bucks.

Forgot to mention that if you type in on search and also check the box for titles and descriptions "Zuni Inlay Watch" or Zuni Inlay Watch Tips", I am sure you will find one similar to yours. Since these are all hand made, it is difficult to find one that is identical.
