I'm in a rather strange position. I received two tickets for the 11:00 AM taping of the Antiques Roadshow TV program in Chicago on 7-26-03. One of my two daughters received two tickets also, but for the 8:00 AM taping. Since we have to travel a distance, we'd like to go together to the 11:00 show. If anyone has an 11:00 ticket that they dont plan on using, I'll trade you both of the 8:00 AM tickets for it. Have I been clear enough?? I'm beginning to confuse myself...I dont want to sell them, just give you two tickets for one of yours. Oh well, its worth a try, I guess. Signed, Hopeful

So they are now giving tickets. I went to the one in Milwaukee. Got there at 8am and finally got to the appraisers at 5pm. Terrible experience and by 5 the appraisers were rather grouchy. Never again will I go.

They didn't give tickets before? It's hard to imagine a large crowd of people just showing up and waiting all day. ( and holding their stuff )

Well believe it. There were no tickets. It started at 7am and by the time we got there the crowd was lined up around the Milwuakee Civic Center (I think this was the building)Probably the building was 4 square blocks. They stopped people from coming after 10:30am. People pushing organs. Pulling wagons and carring their items. You could bring 3 items in to appraise. Who would have thought that once inside the building which took a good 3 hours they had the isles roped like in a bank. Single file, back and forth. Probably over a 1,000 people in that line. I couldn't believe the people inside that building, but as it goes we waited. After that year I think they required tickets. They must not have to many people if it is only for 3 hours.
