Check my email to find my monopoly gameboard has been BINed for 350.00. WOO HOO!

Send EOA..send email to consignor, call mother, pat myself on the back. Start thinking about packaging.

Check my email again to find:

"I did not buy this. I was looking at it but did not buy.
thanks"

AAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

You clicked BIN. You entered your password. You confirmed your bid. You received a congratulatory email from ebay. All an accident?

More likely, significant other hit the roof, credit limit was not good..you name it. 0 feedback buyer, but you have to go through 3 pages for crying out loud to finish BIN!!

I know, not worth persuing. Total waste of time. I will file an NPB and negative fb..well maybe not the negative since I'm sure she's smart enough to retaliate even if she is such an idiot about bidding.

End of rant. Chocolate and wine, but straight Crown Royal first. I could just bawl.

All the buyer has gotta do to reneg is claim they were hacked or something similar. All you can do is put them on your blocked bidders list and maybe leave a negative or neutral feedback that will probably be returned.

You'll lose your listing fees and if the auction was not very old, you didn't get any exposure or bandwidth or whatever the Meg di Greed defenders call it. And also this auction will appear for 10 to 14 days in the completed section of the ebay search engine for all the potential buyers that research to see and wonder what happened that the game is now relisted.

The BIN and Fixed Price Auctions do have some serious pitfalls.

Yeah, I think I'll add a note to the auction explaining why it went down and was relisted so quickly. In very nicey nice terms of course. Don't want anyone to guess at the furious email she received

This is one of those deals where I'm hoping the buy it now will lure someone who needs it PRONTO to bid..those game tables retail for 595.00 (without the glass cover) and aren't selling for half that, even brand new. I was hoping to get a good price for the owner. I think she's going to take a hit on it anyway. Hopefully will be made up with the chairs and pedestal.

Thanks for the venting space.
