I am looking for a cheap label source. Am using the USPS Priority online shipping, printing postage, label, and free delivery confirmation. They linked me to their affiliated label site and it seems expensive...any have any good sources for labels??

Before I got my dynamite DYMO LW300, I bought 2UP's from GF Labels:

I could very well be mistaken, but on the order form for priority mail supplies, I could swear I remember seeing a spot for "Priority mail lables" (free)
No experience with this though, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Those are the smaller labels that you use when you put your own stamps on the Priority package or when you take to the post ofc. These are larger and are meant to be used to print postage and a delivery confirmation receipt.

Why not just print on plain paper?
Can't get any cheaper than that!

That's exactly how I do it now, too, and it doesn't matter how it's being shipped. Cut, clear tape, poof, yer a label.

That is what I did today, being careful to not tape over the bar code. Just thought all the taping, trimming, etc. took more time...would be easier/quicker with labels.

It sure is. I'd go nuts if I had to tape 50 paper labels every day.
You didn't say how you're printing labels, though. If you're using full 8 1/2 x 11 sheets, there are a couple of (relatively) inexpensive sources that will save you minutes.
I am not a bathtub full of brightly-colored machine tools on Vendio.

I have already shipped hundreds of boxes and padded bags where I taped over the bar code with clear tape. Just don't get any wrinkles on the bar code and all works just fine

I use 4-per sheet labels from onlinelabels.com to print postage with dc with endicia. 4.25" x 5.5" Tight squeeze but everything fits.

I print on plain paper and stick them to the box with 3M spray on photo mount adhesive.

I probably shouldn't do this, but you can free half sheet labels from UPS. You just need to sign up for an account from them. I recommend using UPS every now and then just to appease them that you aren't ripping them off though they are considerably more expensive (up to 100% more) than Fed Ex (another little secret). I really wouldn't know anything about this though, because I am an honest person.

Half to 2nd rusty on that one, the UPS labels work perfect for me. Not sure if they work on Endicia or Stamps but they work great on the USPS website.

I use endicia and have a layout that prints the entire label information, including DC on the free labels I get from USPS.
