Am in the middle of a book called The Perfect Store Inside Ebay by Adam Cohen. IMO it's a great inside look at ebay. An ez read and I most heartily recommend it.
When you're done reading it, re-list it really really low and maybe I will buy it! lol...j/k but probably would be interesting read (and I would like a good deal on it!)

Mitch, you are right. Ebayers EXPECT way less than retail even if the item is new and that can get exasperating for sellers, because you always have to figure the postage into it too.
But books? ehh....Once you've read them, what good are they again unless they are reference books?

You can keep em? Then lend them out to friends and relative that never return them. You're right, sell em and recoup part of the original cost.

WHAT?! at my house, we read and re-read books untill they have fallen to pieces. LOL! We generally buy 'em used, and I have only been able to re-sell a few.
We are a family of novel readers.

Books, tools, cookware, you name it. What do I look like, Rockerfeller?!?
Now that I come to think of it, Benny Franklin didn't say " Neither a fish squeezer nor fish flattner be " it was sumthin' like " Neither a borrower nor lend be ". That Benny was a smart cookie ( and quite lustful in his later years I hear ).
Come on lotto!
