Is there a way to change the default of your paypal payments to be credit card instead of bank account?

I do not wish to have payments through my bank account; i usually change it to credit card, but once or twice a year i forget to press the button and it comes out of my checking account. Is there a way to change it?

Closing the bank account would be one way to do it.

There's a Paypal forum here in the Vendio Community Center. You can find it in the drop down menu at the bottom of this page. You'll get good responses there with Paypal questions.

i dont think there is a way, they want you to use your paypal fund, then your bank account and then last resort ,your credit card.
as they have to pay for credit card transaction.

OK - I can understand that...but what happens if we, as buyers, get "stiffed" ...are we not covered by PP because we were not able to use credit card in the transaction?

if you use paypal fund or bank fund to pay, then you have to go thru paypal complaint process if you get stifl??
read buyer protection on their site.
there is also paypal insurance you can buy now if item is not as described.or if you are just simply unhappy with your purchase and seller would not accept returns, you can just return the item to paypal and get your money back from them/

You can choose to fund from your credit card if you wish on individual transactions. You just can't change the default so that it automatically does it (or at least not that I have found) It will always however take from your paypal ballance first which is why if you buy and sell it is a good idea to have two accounts. One that you pay from where you can use your credit card for back up protection and a second account where your selling income is processed.
