When I adjust my computer settings to what I think I used to have I need to scroll to see my auctions with the new templates. Can you let me know if you have to scroll to see these before I convert all my auctions to the new templates. Also let me know if they take forever to download - cute graphics aren't worth that either:

Awwwww Hula - here I thought you were in Hawaii and you are right nect door to me (I'm in Minnesota)!

What do you mean "scroll"? With the new eBay listing format I have to scroll to see the "meat" (descriptions) of all auctions - not just yours.

**I just checked out one of your older auctions and I had to "scroll" there too

If ebay is good to me I'll live in Hawaii someday . Problem is I'm not a big fan of heat of humidity - although it's not bad in Hawaii - 82 degrees and sunny... everyday

I didn't think of that, maybe it's just because if ebays new format. Here's one of my listings with the old template. Do you have to scroll to the right to see these?

or is this one better because the pictures are on the top?

Thanks for all the help!

I can see the title on the putter listing without scrolling - I have to scroll to see even the title on the exercise video...

P.S.: would those irons be good for a 5'4" terrible golfer? I always have to "choke" up on the low irons (im ok with the 5-9's)

Hey Neglus! The length of the irons are the same as you've probably used before, but the heads on them make them much easier to make good contact with the ball.

(sorry, really didn't mean to plug my auctions through this thread - but everyone feel free to shop

I know you weren't trying to promote your auctions hula - anyway I'd just as soon buy from someone I "know" at Vendio than a total stranger LOL

Hmmm Tom - maybe my settings are off...I don't remember ever adjusting them...do you see everything in teeny-tiny print?

Ihula,

Scrolling right on the video was very minimal (1/4 inch, maybe) and definitely didn't affect the look of the auction.

The irons auction didn't require any scrolling and thus didn't provide the bottom scroll bar.

Like the look of both of them.

I didn't have to scroll on any of them. Have mine set to 600 X 800.

The vid required a scroll of about 2 inches to see everything no acrolling on the clubs. I don't do left or right scrolling for anything so I don't know what is out there. Loading was fast on my DLS. the scroll might be because I use netscape or my tiny 17" screen. Looks like your listings are 5-6 pages because of the big print. I'm partial to listings that are 2-3 pages long. Hey, what your doing seems to be working.

YIKES! Do you all mean that you see the WHOLE listing without scrolling at all?? FRom the ebay header all the way down through description to s/h?? what settings do you use and where do you adjust? If it's the "control panel" "display" "screen resolution", I think mine is set to 1024x768 and I have a 17" monitor too..when i try to reduce it, it looks terrible..is that the right place and right way to adjust?
I tried adjusting to lowest resolution and then highest and I always had to scroll..HELP!

I know you have to scroll down, I'm worried about having to scroll to the right. I did actually enlarge the type from what Vendio recommended. I think I'll change that on the exercise video one (and I think I'll put the pictures on top, too since there's usually just 2 of them). That should help a little.

Apparently the new templates are not Mac compatible (strange since HTML is cross platform). The description area is 3 times wider than my monitor. Didn't this same thing happen with the woman with the little girl in the overalls pics?

It did happen to that other poster too (the woman with the overalls) but I had to scroll on hers and I thought it was because her pictures were 3 on top. When I used to do my pictures 3 on top I would have to scroll so I stopped using that layout.

I use "bold" html in all of my descriptions but now I've lost my "bold" in my auctions!
I fiddled with my display settings today and now my auctions are not displaying in "bold" as directed in HTML..is this just me after the fiddling or do others see it too? I do see "bold" here in the Community pages....here is a link to an OLD item (NO I AM NOT PLUGGING IT! -(edited * tried a newer listing) - font size is 4 - I can see bold in the 5+ font sizes and I used to see it in bold until today after my fiddling...

That one still looks bold to me, but it looks like a different script (or whatever that term is).

Thanks! I revised the auction to change the font face thinking that maybe eBay doesn't support the one I am using but that didn't work. It looks like it was some change I made to my settings when trying to get hula's auction all on the screen.

I changed the user signon (default settings)and took another look - it looks bold to me too now. I must have changed something somewhere to alter it ('my ebay' showed up as teeny tiny too).

Just shows that one shouldn't fiddle with things that ain't broke!<--poor grammar for emphasis - cool it you english teachers!
