Just picked up this pair of Fenton whatsits. I went to my Gene Florence 40's 50's 60's book, and there they were - pictured, but not described. I hate Gene Florence. They are 3 3/4" high. Anybody know what they are called?

I would call them hat-shaped vases.

That's what I thought too, except the "Top Hat" vase listed in GF's book is 5".

max40: Sometimes the books are wrong or incomplete.

I am not a bathtub full of brightly-colored machine tools on Vendio.

Something similar is pictured on page 79 of "Fenton Art Glass Patterns - 1930 - 1980" It's described as the #1924 6" DC Vase. It was produced from 1943 to 1952 and the BV is $18 to $24. BUT ...the size is wrong - and I can't find any reference for something that small.
It sure looks like sSIlvercrest. The shape is correct but that size isn't listed for any crest color.

Hopefully, someone will have another source.

max40, do they have the Fenton mark? if so then they are probably after 1975. Before that, most items were marked with just the sticker.

The DC in DC vase stands for Double Crimp.

Thanks for the help. I found several other examples of that shape and size in "Fenton the Second 25 Years", so I will list it as a Silvercrest Tophat 3 3/4" now that I know it came in several sizes. Other sizes shown were 5" and 6".
