I wonder if anyone can tell me how to reach someone @ Bidpay.
I sold 2 items to a buyer who didn't pay. I filed for FVF credit, etc. I have the items re-listed with no bids.
I got an email from this person stating that they were going to pay. The next email was from Bidpay for the 2 auctions. There was a 3rd email stating that the money order had been confirmed.
The problem (aside from the fact I really don't want to do business with this woman but I need the $$) is that the names & addresses don't match up at all.
I emailed Bidpay & informed them of the confirmation number & details. It is over 48 hours & they haven't responded to my email.
Anyone know how I can reach a person?
Thanks for your help.

Sue

Ship the items to the name and address on the Bidpay confirmation email. Email the customer and tell them when it shipped and the address you shipped it to. If they're using someone else's credit card, at least that person will wind up with the merchandise. As long as you have notified Bidpay via the exact method they specified in that second email, you have done your part. Also, I would check my Bidpay account and meke sure that money order has been mailed before doing anything.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

sparkz has it exactly right. If this bidder is using someone else's CC, at least the victim will know something is up when they receive something they didn't order. I had someone gain access to my debit card number. I have no clue how as no one has it or my password - not even Ebay. Anyway, the only way I found out was when $300+ worth of purses where charged to my checking account. You may save someone the grief I suffered by nipping it in the bud. If it is legit (maybe she's legitimately using someone's card) at least your bidder will get what he or she paid for. You should be in the clear because you shipped to the address provided by Bidpay.

I had BidPay not answer a similar question of mine.

Their email said not to ship if the addresses were different and to contact them, but they drug their feet on a reply.

They finally gave an answer, but it was several days if I remember correctly.

This is exactly what I am worried about.
They said to notify them if the name/addresses don't match & not to ship. They said they would respond within 24 to 48 hours. There doesn't seem to be any way I can reject the money order either.

Bidpay's site does have a telephone number listed on it. Atleast when I tried to contact them a few months ago they did.

DO NOT SHIP THE ITEMS UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THE MONEY ORDER IN THE MAIL.
The address of the buyer will be on it. There is no guarantee of payment until you have the check in hand. Once you receive it, complete the transaction, bank the money and be happy. In most cases, I receive the check about a week after the e-mail is sent, but not always. Two times that I remember the check never came only to find out later that the transaction had been cancelled without my knowledge. Only after going into my bidpay account did I find this out. If you don't have an account with bidpay, get one. That way if a buyer is sending you money and accidently gets the address wrong, bidpay will automatically correct it so you will get the money without and problems.

Thank you everyone.
I did try to find a phone number using the exchange from the fax #. There was no listing. The odd thing is that the fax number is here in my town. We aren't a very big town & I had never heard that Bidpay was here. They aren't in the phone book.
It appears that the M.O. was mailed on the 21st.
I did check my account & saw that this person has there buyer id listed as the one on eBay but her name (first & last, so it's not by marriage or divorce)do not match up at all. Nor do the addresses.
I had not cancelled the relisted items & now they have bids. I think I will just mail the M.O. back when it arrives.
Do you think I should do that? And to whom should I mail it? I am thinking I should mail it back to Bidpay.

If you ship to a different address than provided, can anything happen? I mean, can BidPay do anything about it?
