I am still having trouble listing new auctions on ebay through my Macintosh using Vendio. Starting a few days ago, the ebay category listing choices began to appear as a series of dashed lines. This means I need to manually enter a category number -- quite time consuming, as I sell in a large number of categories. It easily adds 10 minutes to the creation of a listing.
I have experienced this problem on different computers, in different locations, using different OS, and from both IE and Netscape. I know of at least one other seller in my geographical area (east coast) who is experiencing the same problem. My complaint to Vendio resulted in a suggestion that javascripts had been disabled on my computer -- which it has not been.
If you are currently using the Mac to list auctions in a variety of categories, and are NOT experiencing this problem, please share your browser name/version and OS. I will attempt to duplicate your listing success from my computer using your setup ... in one last, desperate effort before moving over to the "dark side" of a windows-based machine.

Besides the Ebay catagory window - there is a quick cheat for getting catagory numbers. If you do a regular search for a similar item, the catagory number is in the URL. I've used this method more than once whn listing a number of items from different catagories and it's much faster than going the ebay catagory listing route.

I notice you didn't mention Safari. This one is EASILY the fastest browser for the Mac, since it comes directly from Apple.
You should probably get used to Mozilla and Safari since Microsoft has announced it will no longer support Internet Explorer for the Mac.

I use os X, version 10.2.6 (Jaguar) and either Camino or Safari for the web, and Mail.app, the native mail program for email. Get rid of Exploder as fast as you can. M$ has abandoned IE for Mac...they realize it's ridiculous to pursue it any longer when there are so many BETTER browsers made for Macs. After the other post about the vendio sales page I experimented with Safari and it works fine there. If you haven't switched to Jaguar, why not? If your Mac is at least a 350mhz G3, with minimum 128mb of ram, you really ought to switch. After a brief learning curve, OSX will spoil you rotten!
