Hi everybody. Can anybody give me some direction with this? I dont know what to call it or describe it as.....exept doll radio. All it says is "made in Japan" the transistor for the radio says on it : maker no 725, freq 535 kc-1605 kc, battery op 006p 9v, 6-transistor Tokiwa Eectrical Inc. Co. ltd.

It works but I can only get one am station clearly.

You'll probably get several replies suggesting titles and keywords, but I would be more concerned with advice on what category to list it in. Any idea how old it is? The fact that they listed the number of transistors suggests a marketing strategy used in the late 50's through the 60's.

ROFL The only Radio Dolls I see on Ebay right now are two nudies lol with tit dials a must see lol http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2184875704&category=932 I would list it under dolls myself or maybe both spots dolls and radios but double fee may not be worth it.

Thanks sparkz, I don't know how old it is but the way the doll face is painted, it looks fifties/sixtes.

LOL...I guess if her knobs were t***, I'd have something worth the while!!

Ace...what do mean red x's?

Oh well, maybe somebody who knows about things made in Japan, or old transistor radios will see this post and tell me whatz it is. (I dont think I'll list under dolls because I dont think doll collectors care if its a radio and thats the novelty of it, isnt it?)
