Vendio's EOA email was returned but the winner emailed me so I replied and that was returned.
I used the question form on ebay and that was returned. What should I do now?
Thanks

No.

What you do is go to SafeHarbor and file an Invalid Email Address report.

Hopefully the perp will be suspended.

I am not a bathtub full of brightly-colored machine tools on Vendio.

The guy sounds like he wants to pay me but he doesn't know his emails are being returned.
Now here is the wierd part - I went to check his contact in formation to see if the email was the same and ebay says I can't get it because we are not in a transaction???
He changed his ID but what up with this??
I guess I'll go to Safeharbor and see what's what.
Thanks

That's what I say too. I am trying to find out how to fix this but I don't have the hours to spend on it that is require with ebay's maze of help links??
I think it's all a big mistake and no one is trying to hide from me or anything - I think he changed his ID after he bid and before the auction closed.
Anyway have a link for this one??
Thanks

Changing an ebay ID would not effect the transaction, at least not from your transaction records on the deal.

People say go to Safe Harbor, where the hell is that?

Everything is always on the site map page. Turn in the buyer for a bad email.

This will be the 7th or 8th time I've posted this info so please bookmark it for future use as about 5% of all deals have bad emails these days.

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/identity-invalid-email.html

Very near the bottom of this page is a clickable link that says Report listing violations or problems with another eBay member.
That's the baby to hit.

When you are replying to the e-mail, does it reply to the same e-mail address or does it default to a different reply e-mail address. You could also try using a different e-mail address to contact the buyer from. With all of the spammers stealing e-mail addresses, it is possible that yours maybe blocked. Otherwise, give it a couple of days to see if it clears up.
