It's Snoopy. Didn't the buyer see the photograph of what he or she was buying?

I don't know. The head looks oversized or oddly shaped for Snoopy. Maybe this was intended as an unnofficial "knowck-off clone" of Snoopy?

If you included the picture in your auction, I'd say the buyer should have known what he was getting. But I wouldn't bet too much that is really Snoopy.

the picture you see is the only one there is. it was in the auction and in the gallery just as it is here.

If that was the picture I wouldn't of bid...

It looks more like a red blob with some little resemblence to Snoopy...

Tell the buyer it's Snoopy's brother.

If it's NOT Snoopy I don't know who/what it is...

I seriously doubt it's one of the 101 Dalmations - no spots. LOL!

It looks like an abstract Snoopy. If that was the photo in the auction and they won it then it's theirs to keep. Ebay is an auction not a WalMart store.

It's not Snoopy. Anyone can see it's actually Ralphie.

The red dog to me is obviously Snoopy. Maybe you should have written something like "looks a lot like Snoopy to me" or some other disclaimer in the auction description to put the buyer aware that it may not be Snoopy. I would not refund as the photo is what they must have based their decision to bid on in case the buyer wants a refund or adjustment. What a chickenpoop buyer to complain about a Snoopy figurine. Block her ID too.

If it is Snoopy it would be marked as such. The Peanuts oligopoly was very careful about protecting their intellectual property, i.e., trademarks.

From the photo posted, it reminds me more of a dog off one of the cartoon series -- not Snoopy - think it was a space type cartoon - weird little dog with big head - also a white dog though! But if buyer saw photo, she should have asked for another photo if it wasn't clear enough to bid on!

The Schultz Empire is still very tightly controlled and still making a lot of money. Look at the list in the article and you can see Charles Schulz is #2 at $28 million per year

http://www.forbes.com/home/2002/08/12/0812deadintro.html

The image still looks exactly like several Snoopy figurines that I have seen before. It is probably a bootleg item made in Taiwan. It looks like those acrylic resin figurines that were everywhere a few years ago. None had any markings and all were probably illegal.

It looks like something a child might have made in a art or crafts class.
Or maybe something that didn't quite come out as it should. Either way
I kind of like it myself since it's different. Especially if one of my kids had
made it!

One of my lawn ornaments is a large ceramic "Smokey the Bear" cookie
jar that was obviously hand painted and probably made for someone as a
gift. It was broken on the side and laying in a trash dumpster but it was very
cute and I couldn't stand to see it thrown away. All the pieces were right there
including the ceramic ranger hat. A little glue - A little time. Now it looks just
fine sitting in my front yard rock garden.
