Ebay is not a place to sell but a place to buy. Dealers come to ebay for cheap items that they can sell elsewhere. But some of the poor sellers have to sell at a bargin to get rid of their stuff.

Ok I am guilty of buying cheap to sell high, but isnt that just business?
Sellers can always dump their items at bidville to sit for several years.

Ebay charges fees to list and fees when something sells, when they could just as easily have a free site. They have absolutely no respect for good old fashioned seller greed

Why is it bad to buy cheaply on ebay and sell elsewhere? I do it all the time, sometimes right back on ebay except I will actually describe the item properly!
As far as collectibles go, there are two kinds of dealers. One is someone who is aware of changes in the market, and keeps their inventory up to date with that. It might look like dumping, but really it is smart business because what use is dead inventory when you need cash flow? The second dealer will carry the same stuff for years and years, and the same prices. They are they ones always complaining (i.e. say something bad about ebay) and wonder what is wrong with everyone else, since they are doing things the correct way. They just never get it.
