I'd like to list this postcard but I have no clue what is going on here...it looks like a procession of some kind. Unfortunately there is a purple seal right on top of the image..can anyone tell me what the writing at the bottom says? Thanks!
edited to add: the back says "kobundo nakamura" in the stamp box

it is a royal procession,either the queen is going someplace or the group is on its way to visit the queen .it is a special occasion.
it should be empress as they dont have queen,they have emperor and empress.

I tried babelfish, and it just returns the same text. It's probably someone's personal name... An Emperor or something.

That is because bablefish will not translate photos of script. It will only translate script. All this is likly more trouble than it is worth....

this could be the coronation of emperor hirohito,the father of the current emperor.
if it is handpainted card,it may fetch 3-5 dollars.
