Hey, I know how many of you feel about Powersellers. But, I just became one today and I'm actually pretty excited. Gives me a little validation. YEAH!
I haven't decided to "wear" the powersellers' emblem yet, though. Anyone know what some of the REAL benefits are? I read the info from eBay, but it is somewhat vague.

The only benefit I have found it that you do get a specific email address to write to and a toll free telephone number to call if you ever need to get a hold of someone.

Other than that, I don't think there is anything else that is actually "beneficial"

Congratulations! And good luck!

none as far as I was able to tell. I got the email today that took away the status, which is probably a result of taking most of the summer off. Oh well, next time I am offered, I will accept. Why not? One thing about being a power seller, it is not worth listing just to keep the status. If I get it, great, if it goes away, that is okay too. I work on my schedule, not ebay's...

Hello
I may be wrong however I have been a power seller for some months and I get the feeling that being a power seller really is a deperment not an asset. Customers seem to look at me different, less forgiving, more demanding, less friendly etc. I can't put my finger on it but it is there.

In any event congradulations....

NTM: spearmint is detrimental to ye doggy breath!

OTOH: when I WAS a powasella, I dropped the logo -- to many negative vibes while that logo was in place, so I AGREE with ye!

I got demoted in my PS level today ..no mercy for the summer doldrums! I can't say that I notice many benefits to being a PS nor many detriments either ... to me it's just a goal..like the feedback landmarks..BTW should hit 3000 today

Congrats cramer! Wear the logo with pride - you earned it!

I like reading the Powersellers message boards, but to be honest that's the only "benefit" I've ever seen.

Hey Cramer, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! on becoming a power seller. Sure it does you a lot of good most buyers will see that you are honest and work hard and you will get more bids because of it. If you are or become a RED STAR power seller that really brings the customers. Don't pay any attention to the people that bad mouth power sellers and or red star sellers they are either bottom feeders or jealous. Keep up the good work and GOOD LUCK.

Been a powerseller for years. Only benefit is saying been a powerseller for years. Never needed the support. Rarely look at the boards. I get demoted in level a few times a year (always get a notice) and raised in level when sales go up (like a yo-yo). Overall it's a useless designation.

I bees one,,,,It's no ones Business how much I makes a month,,,,like Chevrons on a Marines sleeve,,,,Which means squat when it comes to the bullets flying, How much he makes has nothing to do with how quick! or smart he is,,,,,that P.S logo has the same effect in my mind,,,I don't fly that flag. the ONLY thing a P.S. rank gives you is a faster response to the radio room, COC bunker. No more and no less SUPPORT......delete it and go forward!

Lead or be left in the Dust....

AND THE BEAT GOES ON,,,,,
