I hope this works for you. Makes it easier to look at.

It would work if only I would put in all the info....

Just looked. Doesn't say somewhere if you are doing the same auctions they need to be dutch auctions? It seems like a lot of repeat auctions. 183 in a week, before I bid I would step back and take a closer look especially with the low feedback rating and also the little I changed my user ID icon.
Maybe eBay will be watching before everyone gets taken.....

I can't say for sure that it's fraud, but there are a few things that don't look right and would keep me from bidding.

~The most recent feedback is from Nov-12-02. Now they are listing alot of higher end items.

~If you check the URL for the images in the auction they are linked directly to the company's websites (ie. www.ati.com, accessories.us.dell.com, www.sonystyle.com, ect.)

~The text discription is also taken directly from the manufacturers website.

If you look at the feedback that the seller left for others you can see that the past auction style (description) is much different from the current ones.

Hmmm, maybe a hijacked account?

Anyone?

Ebay needs to get on the phone to the owner of that account and start asking questions NOW. A hijacked account looks like a definite possibility here. Just counting the number of bids already made and the amount involved, this warrants safeharbour's scrutiny.

From eBay's help page:
Multi Listing occurs when a seller posts more than 10 listings for identical items. If a seller lists in more than one category, the categories must be relevant. Any additional identical listings will be ended. The insertion fee will be automatically credited for ended listings. Sellers may not register multiple User ID's to list more than 10 identical items.

there are many sellers who dont have inventory on hand and use dropshippers.
starting at one penny and hope the final bid amount exceeds his cost,he could make a few bucks that way.
he is charging shipping of 22.95 so he is covered there.
or - could this be a ploy of borrowing money to pay rent??

Congratulations Jalleniii...You called this one right. Over 100K in bids outstanding. P.T. Barnum was right.

Can this seller just open a new account and DO IT ALL over again?

Considering that they popped this person within just a couple days of the closing of their first auctions and without a single neg on their account... I think thay may have already pulled this stunt before. Otherwise there is no justification for the account being NARU so quickly.

since all their items start at 1 penny, they could be naru'd for shill bidding.
or ebay found out this is a new id of a past naru'd seller.
the description and pic may come from the manufacturer, but the items they are selling are not mint in box.could be from a pawn shop.
-sig file -------The thrill is gone!!
