This is the first in a series of Emails that will discuss postage refund protocols for Endicia users. In this Email we will focus on a brand new protocol which is completely paperless and eliminates the need for you to mail us certain forms and refund specimens! It is available for any tracked postage label that you print (e.g. a label with delivery confirmation, signature confirmation, or Express Mail tracking).
Here’s how the new protocol works. If you print a label which you aren’t going to use for any reason (e.g., it failed to print, the label had the wrong address, the order was canceled by the buyer), you can apply for a refund with these simple steps:
1. In DAZzle, select Refund Request from the Postage menu. This will open your Web browser and automatically sign you on to the refund page for your Endicia Web account.
2. Choose one of three options to search for the item you want refunded.
3. When you find the item you want refunded, check the box to the left of the item.
4. Follow the instructions to review and submit your refund request.
5. Destroy the unused label.
6. Do this within 48 hours of printing your label.
I always saved up my rejects and had to remember to enter them and mail them off in a batch every couple weeks. Now I can send them through immediately. A big time-saver!
