Last night I went through and revised all my pages and updated it. I changed the look around a bit. I was just wondering what you guys think... and what you would change. I like ihula's contact page, I wonder if I should have one of those...

Yours need some work - there's way too much spacing between section.

I would put the navigation links in one static place - generally the left side is the best. Set up a single page template and the use that template for all of your pages. Don't make people hunt to find the cataory links from page to page.

Use smaller text in your links And try not to have so many different sizes of text. Look at some of the more mainstream sites and see what they do that you like and don't like and take your clues from there.

One of my sources has great stuff but a really clunky site. Because of that nearly every month they end up running clearances on great stuff that just did not sell brecause of bad presentation.

Basically you want to find a happy medium between a site that is pro looking without removing the homey feeling.

Oh yeah - you need to make "treasure" on the first page plural.

Your logo and headings are way too big. I'm running on a high-resolution monitor and the listings still start way down low on the page. Your logo is 288x237 pixels. You should probably scale it down to be maybe 80-100 pixels tall.

Other than the huge gap, it all looks pretty good.

Ok, I should really be packing boxes... but I wanted to try and do a test page with your suggestions. How does this one look?

How large is the text, and which text would you scale down?

I use netscape composer to create it, so I don't actually use numbers, it just adds the words big or small. You think just one size smaller on the text? All the text on the page, or just certain sections?

I would go at least one size smaller - Personally I would go to but I really like smaller compact text, not everone does

I like it much better!

1) Read this! http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm - this is the best piece of advice I've seen on making a successful web site

2) Unless you plan on developing the "Treasure Shop" link further, I suggest combining it with the home page and remove that link.

3) Personally, I would make, http://www.toymom.com/storefront.html, your home page, with the Payment and Newsletter links on the Left Nav as well. Condense the link spaces closer together. There's a lot of dead space between the logo and the left nav. Perhaps you could resize the logo and make it fit into the left nav?

4) Then whatever changes you make, I suggest changing your "About Me" page in your eBay Store and update as well. A consistent navigation helps, I think.

Minor stuff:
* I noticed, "Electronics, Tools & Equipment" are actually two separate links. It should be one.
* You think there should be some space between the left nav and eBay marketplace listings?

Just my opinion...
