I have been here before looking for help identifying sorority/fraternity pins. I have search Ebay and Ebay Stores, I have search the internet with Excite over and over. I could really use some help before I lose my sanity. I know the symbols stand for "Alpha Chi Kappa", but I don't know how the little letter "A" on the chapter guard? changes it. Also, another puzzle is, Why can't I find this exact sorority? I find the Alpha Kappa Chi, Kappa Chi Alpha, etc., but not "Alpha Chi Kappa" in this order. I have the impression that it was on the East Coast. Is it now defunct? There should still be some mention of it on the internet or on Ebay. Can you help?
Also, on the same subject. I listed a fraternity pin recently. It ended at about $65. I couldn't find the darned little thing. I stalled contacting the winner with the payment details while three of us tore the house apart looking. In the meantime, the winner contacted me looking for payment information. Finally, on the third day after the auction ended, I emailed the winner and explained what had happened. I told him I really thought it had to have been thrown away. He was really nice about it. Was most gracious about my screw up. About a week passed, and the fraternity pin surfaced. I was thrilled and emailed the winner again. He responded asking if I would take a flat $50 for it. That it would really help him out if I would. I thought about it. I almost said yes because of having lost it for awhile. But I looked at the bid history and saw that the backup bidder had lots more feedback and was only behind by $1. I emailed the winner and told him what I had discovered. I countered with a flat $55. He took it. He got a deal, and I was still happy.

There was a recent thread here about a sorority pin with an attachment. When I went to the old AW search message center link
it appears that Vendio may have disabled its use as no results are found or even attempted for an search. It may be a temporary glitch but I really think Vendio permenantly disabled the engine.
