Yeah Jack, I noticed that. The day after I install new AV software, the infected emails stop. Kinda like buying a new shotgun on the last day of dove season.

Can you make mine stop coming now?
I was out today and my 30 MB mailbox was overfilled. I don't know how many emails I missed.

JACK; I don't feel sorry for these fools that don't keep their A/V updated. Between the A/v updates & the Window updates, no one should have had a problem with these worms. Microsoft had a patch out over 6 months ago & if you kept up todate it wouldn't have been a problem

I was lucky I didn't have only a handful. Not anymore than I usually get. Thank goodness for my ISP and their virus protection as they were right on top of it from the very beginning.

jack, i was getting the bogus emails aplenty a week ago monday ... they flooded in on monday and tuesday of that week, then started dwindling in number so i was pretty happy it seemed to be dying down [delete delete delete] ... but just yesterday and today, the number of "mailer-daemons" in my mailbox are really shooting up again .... i DO not have the virus, [and never did], i DO have a good firewall, but it is explained to me that SOMEBODY ELSE, who has my email address in their online address book, DOES have the virus, and their bug randomly chose MY email address to copy into the 'sender' address on emails ... i'm trying to figure out how to just block any "mailer-daemon@***" from coming in ...
