Last time tonight. I promise! Anyone ever hear of Schmid, the Creative Hand, Italy? And what kind of flower do you think this is? I want to say daffodil but. . . Just making sure I list correctly. There is one more piece below these photos.

The second item I know to be at least over 50 years old. It was given to my friend as a wedding shower gift and she's 80+. But, what the heck would you call it? It's quite large at 6" in diameter and 5" tall. Very heavy as well. Seems rather large for serving mayonnaise or mustard.

Thanks yet again.

First one I can't help with. It could have been made yesterday or quite old. Looks like a daffodil to me.
Second one had me stumped till I noticed that it is divided. It's a relish.

Thanks, Max40. Just seems awfully big. Must be for BIG parties. Either that or they did things in big ways in the 1940's.

Looks like a Lily to me. But who knows I only work in a garden center. I am a great one for flowers. I am lucky I know a petunia from a geranium...

You have some beautiful items Cheryl.

By the way, somewhere in my pile of mistakes, I have some early marked Limoges blank plates. If you'd like to take up a new hobby let me know, such a deal!

That would be a lesson in how NOT to paint a plate. I can't even cut a straight line let alone paint one. Somehow what I see is far from what leaves the brush.

Any ideas on how to ID the relish bowl's maker? It may be crystal as there is a high pitched ting when tapped.

That is a lily - looks straight out of my garden.

That looks like a lily to me- the detail down at the base even looks like a stylized version of how the stems come off the tubers (roots)
