I just received this "ebay" email which I must assume is bogus.

Dear eBay Member:

From time to time, for the sake of the security of our members, we require
that you verify and update your account information online. This is done to
ensure us that nobody else has access to your eBay account or any personal
information. You must verify and update your account information online within the
next 24 hours, after which your account will be temporarily suspended until
you do so.

You can verify and update your account information online by clicking Here

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Sincerely,
eBay Online Services

Upon clicking "Here" I was sent to the following address:

http://www.verification-online.tr.cx/

The address doesn't mention ebay and the form to be filled out is not secure (no lock in the corner). It was sent to me on the second of this month but so far no notification of temporary suspention. Has anyone else received this email?___Thanks

I guess just about everyone has received this email by now.
Do the same if you get one from PayPal & you will.

Forward it to [email protected]

A more appropriate user name would be "GetAClue"

Click the link.

Then fill out the form with all sware words and BS information. If enough people do this, it might discourage these low lifes from sending them. Right now, they are counting on all of the wise people will just delete the e-mails, so when they do get someone that actually fills it out, they will have legite info. If everyone were to fill in BS info, then they will have to weed through to get the same info. And with enough bad info, they might give up.

Just a thought.
