Anyone know anything about this company/figure? The mark on the bottom reads "D'Art" and "Made in Spain". There's a printed letter "A" and an inscribed letter "D" on the bottom. The figure is a clown and it's made of porcelain/china (how to tell the difference with figurines?). He stands about 13 1/2 inches tall. eBay/Google searches turn up nothing. I think he's really unique and nice but don't want to "under" or "over" price him. Thanks for any help/info.

Hi Blueeyes,
I am wondering if it could be LLadró with paper label missing? They make the porcelain clowns imported from spain. Very expensive! But that is not their mark on the bottom....sorry

Nope, it's not Lladro...not their style. Still hope some expert out there can give me some guidance and info...

I sold a clown a few months ago - was a "Zampiva". While I was researching it, I came across a site that had artisan-style clowns other than Zampiva. I will try to find the link for you...
