Whew! I just made a push for it with listings today! Hope it harvests some worth while sales! I don't know what it is, but I am feeling very enthusiastic with the advent of Fall. (anybody else?)

btw, now I hope I can handle it. I dont know how you guys do it with so many listings, and packing, and tracking and emailing. Feel like I am missing something in doing this right, but I dont know what?

You will have 7 days to figure out what you are going to do as that is when your auctions go off and everyone pays you the same night with PayPal. How many auctions did you list? Good Luck

Libra, thanks. You know I didnt even think about them all going off the same day. duh! I listed about 30 items, which is alot for me because I usually do about 12-15 a week.

I started 30 tonight, mostly collectibles, and I've learned the hard way that 30 is about all I can handle per week and still have a life outside ebay. I'm one of the dinosaurs here who still send personal EOA notices, etc. I refuse to quit doing that because I get such great responses from my buyers and still (knock on a lot of wood) have no negatives.

Well I turned off PayPal's WBN. I don't want my buyers to get confused as they did last week. So it's back to personal ones and I will list fewer auctions.

I'm ready for fall too!!
I use the WBN from Vendio and have for 2 years. I personalize it to the point that some people don't even know that it's a automatic email. It has not hurt my FB as I still have a 100%
It really helps me keep my records straight too. Who gets what - insurance paid etc. Of course not everyone uses it but that ok too. But some of my customers say they really like it.
I list about 25 items per week except my big week - which I do all relist plus a lot of new stuff - for about 50 to 100 listings. I try to mix up the items so some are easy to ship like jewelry. But I must admit the packing part is a real drag. I think I would be rich if I just didn't have to do all my own packing??? lol

Well, I've been stocking up on those Athens Olympic Pins (my specialty is Olympic pins). Rarer ones are hard to find and command quite a nice price in Greece. I finally got a friend to give up 4 nice ones, so last night I started up 4 auctions. Each item already has 5 or 6 bids and they are fast approaching the reserve. Looks like my business is back after taking 6 months off.

I'm with you Roadsmith, I reply to all my buyers personally, and about 30% of my buyers are repeat, and many are "regulars", I am sure that the personal contact is the reason for a lot of the repeaters. Of course, being disabled and home all the time makes it much easier than those sellers that have a family at home, and/or full time jobs.
