I tried to send an eBay invoice to a buyer in an auction that ended last night and came up with a NARU...sure enough...the person with several hundred positive fb's is NARU today! GRRR! She even had a positive FB posted yesterday so it must have just happened today..THERE OUGHT TO BE A LAW!!

Hi, don't ya just hate when that happens. I thought I was the only one. Since the summer I have had a couple also, and I know 2 had feedbacks in the 100's maybe a neutral and Poof! they are naru. This is a shame especially when things look like they are beginning to pick up nicely.BTW one completed the transaction said that she had moved and forgot to change contact phone number with ebay, Her ISP remained the same. Hope it is something as simple as that for you.

Well, I posted about the buyer who claimed her account was infiltrated and Naru'd by one of those virus bugs going round. Funny thing is I didnt really believe her story, but soon as I file the NPB, I get payment from her thru paypal -- which makes me think twice because why pay if you are already suspended? So maybe she was truthful. And maybe there are more hit-up like her????

In the past the main reason why ebayers got NARU'd was because they were sellers that didn't pay their ebay bill. But now the main reason seems to be bad contact info.

I wish that when ebay sends out their EOAs that they would check themselves for bounced email addresses and deal with their problem instead of making the sellers attempt sending letters from different email adresses and phone calls and such. Ebay provides the buyers so why not try to provide bonafide buyers?

Buyers that don't pay for 3 auctions can and will be kicked off ebay if the sellers turned them in. Remember buyers, Ebay does not like to refund to sellers for a non paying bidder.

Neroter; How could you file a NPB if she were NARUed? I tried this about 3 weeks ago & got back "Not Registered User" from EBay.

When I file an NPB alert & the buyer is NARU I usually get a instant refund.

You should have too.

Sanmar & McJane,

That is what I remember telling Libra<?> in another thread -- that I got the instant credit on someone who was NARU'd one time and I was surprized. But this one, I did not. And actually I said NPB, but I meant to say was filing for FVF.

Anyway I filed it, relisted item, then she pays me! pffst! What a pain in the neck.

Ace, this person is a seller too. I wonder if that is why she got naru'd and too embarassed to say that?

How long will they let you go b4 your bill becomes in arrears?

I do mine CC every month, but I am thinking about changing that.

I've always paid by credit card so I don't know how long that ebay will let you go but it can't be long. There use to be a set money limit if you didn't pay by CC or a automatic checking setup.

Why don't you send an invoice through your e-mail. Ebay's invoice system sucks anyway. You might still get the sale and that is what it is all about anyway.
