Tis one of Ralphie's consignments!

Poodle next door keeps giving him the eye -- he's a push-over for French dames (the fool!) She dumps this "TREASURE" on him &, like da sucker he is, he comes crawling to me for HELP!

This "beauty" is un-marked anyplace & looks to me like it was home-made from a KIT! But, what do I know? And I won't stand in the way of TRUE-LOVE, so we be coming here to all our FRIENDS and say:

HELP!

THANKEE!!!

First picture I saw, It was great! After that it went down hill. It looks like one of the imports that J.C. Pennys was selling in the 80's. Did you get the pendulum with it?
I don't know how that would sell on eBay, but in the mall, I'd ask $45.00 for it-complete.
Some dogs will do anything for love.

IOW: trash? Right?

I can't believe what the owner paid for this garbage!

Some folks see old junk & think riches! I see garbage & think trash!

I think Ralphie eat the pendulum!

GrandDaddy went to an auction one night and bought a broken cheap plastic
electric movement "CooKoo Clock" because he figured I could fix it.

I did get it working and he treasured that thing for years. Sent it back to me
once because it slowed down. He figured it was a professional repair since
I fix clocks at work once in a while.

Somebody somewhere will want that clock. And it's a mechanical, too.

Hi,
If I remember right these clocks were called "Ginger Bread Clocks"....its not an expensive turn of the century like the ones I am use to seeing but your clock is in very nice condition, its all wood, and is wind up which lots of people like because it adds more charm. Your clock also seems to be a table style which is nice for mantels, the casing seems to be wood and the back plywood, so I would say this clock is maybe from the 1950s.up but don't hold me to that date. Im going by the type of wood that it seems to be.
Also, it has a nice metal round face with an octagon front look and brass trim which also helps in selling this clock.
If I had this clock I would start it at 24.99 because don't forget its going to be costly to ship since it is big and after packing it good it will also have weight to it. I didn't see a pendulum, do u have it?
If not they will be needing to buy one that is the proper size in weight for this clock.

These are original Ginger Bread Clocks, but just for you to get an idea of what i was saying.
Check out auction # 2190823140 and 2191072305

Also i wanted to mention without seeing your clock in person its a little hard to make a good judgement. Maybe someone else will know more in the way of its age. I hope it will sell for more then what i'm thinking for the starting bid.

tonimar1: Ralphie is drooling & slobbering his big fat loving KISSES to you for yer HELP!

Ye nailed it -- it is very similar to yer 2nd auction!

His Poodle-Girl (well, actually, her "human" has some idea that it is worth in the hundreds & wants a $100 reserve & I'm trying to convince her it ain't that much, without interferring too much in Ralphie's romantic adventures (the poor boy needs a HOBBY, right?)

You saved our tails!!

THANKEE! THANKEE!! WOOF!! WOOF!!
